2. Use of Data

The data collected by Standard Use of the website (see 1.1) allows us to form aggregated statistics that enable us to improve our services. For example, measuring how long users stay on frequently accessed pages allows us to see if a page could be made clearer in case users spent that time searching for a given element, post, or option, and pages that are rarely or not visited at all can be removed or integrated into another page.

The data collected from Form Submissions (see 1.2) allows us to contact you and personalize our responses to your needs. We also reserve the right to send occasional emails about updates on our website and services when you use the Subscribe form, located both on the Subscribe page and on the site footer. These emails will include the option to unsubscribe and the option to update your preferences (i.e. the information entered on the Subscribe form). The information entered on the Subscribe form is automatically shared with MailChimp, which powers our email service; MailChimp’s use of said data is solely governed by the owner of MailChimp (see section 3).

The data collected in Online Payment (see 1.3) allows us to manage and track orders, as well as to share this information with any affiliates required for the manufacturing, packing, storage, and shipping of the products ordered as necessary. We may also use this to contact you with confirmation emails and other important messages or updates about your product.

The data collected through Account Creation and Use (see 1.4) allows us to enable you and other users to interact. It also enables us to store information that may be entered during purchases, including credit card information and the information described in section 1.3, to give you a faster checkout experience when you are logged in.

We will never give, sell, or otherwise distribute your data unless required by law or explicitly stated elsewhere in section 2. In the unlikely event of a record breach, we will notify you by email as soon as we know. We reserve the right to contact you via email in such events, in addition to significant technical errors or similar reports.
